Mrs. Arlene Sanderson Taylor, 90, of 807 Stewart Ave went to her Heavenly Home on Monday, August 1st, 2016.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 4th at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church, 408 College Street with Dr. Ray Ammons and Dr. Ron Cava officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.

Born in 1925 in Durham County, Arlene was the daughter of the late Thomas William and Laura Adams Sanderson and was the widow of Clyde Wesley Taylor. She was a member of First Baptist Church, co-owner and operator of Taylor and Sanderson, a former home economics teacher and caterer.

Mrs. Arlene is survived by her daughter, Vonda Taylor Williams of Clinton; three sons, Ricky Taylor and wife, Cindy, Randy Taylor and April Pope, Robert Taylor and wife, Judy all of Clinton; Foster daughter Shari Parker of Clinton. She is also survived by her sister Ethel Hale of Littleton and nine grandchildren, Wes and wife Marla, Steven, Ryan and Reid Taylor also Warren, Laura and Bethany Williams, Darby and husband Jacob Smith and Carlon Cannady; two great-granchildren, Carli and Rachel Taylor.

In addition to her husband, Arlene was preceded in death by her brother Burrell Warren Sanderson.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home and other times at her home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 408 College St. Clinton, N.C. 28328
