Mr. Royce Harrell Williams, 77, of 149 Dusty Lane, passed away at his home on Monday, January 8, 2018 with his family by his side.
A Memorial Service will be held at Freedom Baptist Church on Wednesday, Jan. 10th 2017 at 2pm with Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating.
Born on March 22, 1940 in Sampson County, Royce was the son of the late Isaac Newton and Alma Harrell Williams. He was a retired landscaper and member of Freedom Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Horne Williams of the home; daughter, Katrina Edwards and husband, Carl of Roseboro; son, George “Bud” Mercer and wife, Daphne of Roseboro; sisters: Kathy Fuller of Fuquay Varina, Lori Purcell of Apex, Brenda Johnston of South Carolina; brothers: Ted Williams of Raleigh and Dickie Williams of Virginia; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Williams and a sister, Rhonda Williams.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
