Mr. Herman Lee Taylor, 79, of 55 Concord School Rd., passed away on Tuesday, July 12^th 2016 at New Hanover Medical Center.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, July 16^th at 11:00 am at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, located at 1481 Fleet Cooper Rd, Roseboro, with Pastor John Hobbs officiating.

Born on February 7^th 1937 in Sampson County, Herman was the son of the late Cleveland and Lena Tucker Taylor.   He was a retired welder and a member of Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church.

Herman leaves behind three sons: Randy Lee Taylor & wife, Sylvia of Turkey; Billy Ray Taylor & wife, Kim of Hampstead and David Allen Taylor of Clinton; three stepsons: Kenneth Anderson & wife, Ruthanne of Kansas, James Anderson of Fayetteville and Timothy Anderson & wife, Janet of Clinton; one stepdaughter, Sandra Kay Stallings & husband, Larry of Rocky Mount; and his sister, Virginia Coats of Richmond, Virginia.  He was also blessed with fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Herman was preceded in death by his wife, Treva Rose Taylor; his five brothers: Henry Earl, Jesse, JC, Oman & Sam Taylor; a grandson, Brandon Taylor and a great-grandson, Ethan Bartley. 

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, July 15^th from 6-8 pm at the Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel.
