Mr. Conrad Absalom Boone, 82 of City of Oaks/Bond St. died in Wake Medical Center in Raleigh Monday, October 1, 2007.

A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am in the Rowan Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Patrick officiating.

Born in 1924 in Sampson County, Mr. Boone was the son of the late Livingston Caison and Mary Frances Weeks Boone. He was a retired carpenter and painter.

He is survived by one daughter: Janet and husband, Larry Moore of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister, Catherine and husband, Claude Hale of Raleigh; one brother, Carson and wife, Jackie Boone of Jacksonville, NC; special friends and caregivers, Bill and Diane Gray of Raleigh.

The family will receive friends Thursday one hour prior to the service at Royal-Hall Funeral Home.
