Mrs. Winnie Potter Futrell, 81, of 4108 Garland Hwy., passed away Tuesday April 23, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.
A Graveside Service was held in the Clinton Cemetery, Friday April 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM with Rev. E. C. Mattocks officiating.
Born on February 26, 1943, in Duplin County, Winnie was the daughter of the late Inez Deluca. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the widow of Gene Carson Futrell. Winnie loved spending time with her grandchildren and a good game of Canasta. She loved working in her yard and tending to her flowers.
She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Futrell of Pink Hill. Son, Christopher Futrell and wife, Mary of Clinton. Brother, Frank Lee Potter of Benson. Four grandchildren, Thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Hall. Two brothers, Jessie Potter and John Potter.
