Mr. William Franklin “Frank” Jackson, 77, of 494 H.B. Lewis Rd., passed away at Sampson Regional Medical Center on Sunday evening, January 9, 2022.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Clinton Community Church with Rev. Dwight Dunning and Rev. Andy Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.
Born on July 30, 1944 in Sampson County, Frank was the son of the late Wilbert Earl and Peggy Warren Jackson. He was a licensed electrician and retired employee with Carolina Telephone. He was a hard-working man, with a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He loved his family more than anything, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, because to know him, was to love him.
Frank leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of fifty-eight years, Faye Coley Jackson; daughter, Terri Jackson Shaffer and husband, Andy, of Dunn; his son, William Tracy Jackson and wife, Natalie of Turkey; sister, Susie Thornton of Clinton; brother, W.E. Jackson of Clinton; seven grandchildren: Josh Shaffer (Morgan), Meagan Shaffer (Fiancé, Preston Perry), Olivia Shaffer (Fiancé, Tanner Kelly), Adam Jackson (Adrianna), William Lucas Jackson, Noah Jackson and Lydia Jackson; and one great-grandson, Bentley Jackson.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday, beginning at 12:30, in the Sanctuary of the church; and other times at his home.
