Wayne Curtis Watts “Big Wayne”, 76, of 371 Cabbage Patch Rd., passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

All services will be held privately by the family.

Born in 1949 in Robeson County, Wayne was the son of the late Curtis and Ella Mae McLean Watts. He was a poultry grower and spent his career with Dubose Strapping until his retirement. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and tinkering on cars. He loved sitting in his recliner relaxing and watching westerns, Mash, Law and Order. He found lots of joy in spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Wayne is survived by the love of his life for 56 years, his wife, Elizabeth Carter Watts of the home; daughter, Tracy Watts Jones (Ronnie) of Florida; two sons: Wayne Curtis Watts, Jr (Heather) of Garland and Bradley Justin Watts of Clinton; sister, Vickey Watts Tyler of Bladenboro; nine grandchildren: Cassidy Watts, Landon Watts, Zack Alphin (Jacquelyn), Dustin Alphin, Alison Jackson (Brett), Valin Watts, Leo Watts, Skyler Wilson, and Waylon Watts; four great-grandchildren: Weston Jackson, Hudson Jackson, Alaina Jackson, Wyatt Alphin; and many extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents Wayne was preceded in death by two sisters: Joanne Watts Polton and Patsy Watts Hughes.
