Obituary
Tyler Britt Strickland, 28, of Lake Artesia Rd, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday morning, February 10th at Devotional Gardens in Warsaw with Rev. David Helbig officiating. Visitation will be held following the service at the home of his grandfather, Carl Britt at 2031 Lake Artesia Road, Faison, NC.
Tyler was born on September 6, 1994 to Scott Strickland and Kimberly Britt Lassiter. He was a “jack of all trades” and could pretty much do anything he set his mind to. He loved UNC Basketball and anything Nike. He loved the outdoors, and spending time with his friends, and family. Tyler especially had a tender spot for his daughter, Emma, who was his world. He will be greatly missed.
Tyler is survived by his survived by his parents: Mom, Kimberly B. Lassiter and husband, David from Beulaville and Dad, Scott Strickland of Mt. Olive; his daughter, Emma Tyler Strickland; his grandfather, Carl Britt of Faison; grandmother, Geneva Strickland of Mt. Olive; and Special Aunt and Uncle, Wendy and David Jones of Faison.
Tyler was preceded in death by his brother, Kendell Scott Strickland; maternal grandmother, Shelvia Britt; paternal grandfather, James “Buddy” Strickland; his stepmom, Amber Strickland, and special cousins, Thomas and Morgan Jones.
