Terry Grider Willis Penny, 72, of 103 Britt Street died at her home Thursday, November 25, 2021.

Born on March 20, 1949 in Onslow County, Terry was the daughter of Notre Grider Yarborough and the stepdaughter of the late Jesse Yarborough, Sr. She worked in Customer Service her entire career until retirement. She enjoyed watching TV shows, eating at Sandpiper, and had a passion for the moon, frogs and cats. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren - they were her world.

She is survived by her mother, Notre Yarborough of the home; daughter, Marla Willis of Cocoa Beach, FL.; sons: Marcus Willis and fiancé, Lori Hunter of Clinton, Justin Willis and wife, Stacey of Fayetteville; two sisters: Pam Grider Smith and Cindy Grider Bass both of Clinton; brother, Allen Grider of Norwood, NC.; stepsister, Sandy Yarborough Covington of Myrtle Beach, SC.; two stepbrothers: Jesse Yarborough and Wayne Yarborough, both of Florida; and her two grandchildren: Autumn Willis and Carter Willis. She was preceded in death by half- sister, Winnie Yarborough Harrison and brother, Charles Grider.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and will be announced by Royal-Hall Funeral Home.
