Ms. Shirley “Ann” Blackburn McCullen, 81 of 335 Bradshaw Rd. passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM. at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stanley King officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackburn Family Cemetery in Ingold.
Born on August 26, 1942, Ann was the daughter of the late Stedman and Annie Fowler Blackburn. She was a retired employee with the Lundy Packing Co. and a member of St. Matthew Pentecostal Holiness Church. She enjoyed watching NASCAR and attending St. Matthew Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Ann is survived by a daughter, Carolyn M. Byrd, and husband, Jeff of Faison. A son, Scott McCullen of the home. Two sisters, Linda Wilkes of Ingold and Frances Myers of Clinton. Four grandchildren, Justin Stanley (Aubrea) Katlyn Jordan (Bill), Tyson Byrd, and Brady Byrd. Four great-grandchildren, Casen Stanley, Ava Stanley, Henry Jordan, and Harvey Jordan.
Ann was preceded in death by an infant son, Hugh McCullen. A Sister, Ruby Smith, three brothers, Walter Blackburn, Amos Blackburn, and Carl Blackburn
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 27, one hour prior to the services beginning at 1:00 PM.
