Mrs. Sharon Ann Cottle Jacobs, 67 of 1998 Hobbton Highway, Clinton, NC passed away at her home Monday, June 10th, 2024, with her family by her side.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, June 14th at Holly Grove Holiness Church with Rev. Bobby Herring and Pastor Bill Chaney officiating. Burial will follow at Coharie Christian Center Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Holly Grove Church one hour before the service and at other times at the home.
Sharon, born August 22, 1956 in Sampson County, was the daughter of the late Oscar Lee and Annette Draughon Cottle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Jacobs. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a member of Coharie Christian Center. A woman of great work ethic, loyalty, and dedication, Sharon was a devoted member of her women’s ministry group and a supportive friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Freeman (Neal) of Bolton, NC. Three sons, Nelson Christopher Jacobs, Jr., Patrick Lee Jacobs and Jonathon Ray Jacobs (Kelli) all of Clinton, NC. Sister, Terry Edwards of Lillington, NC. Grandchildren, Jakob Nelson Honeycutt, Connor Tate Honeycutt, Karley Simone Freeman, River James Jacobs and a baby girl on the way.
