Mrs. Sandra Hodge Pridgen, 82, of 406 Walking Stick Trail, passed away on Thursday January 2, 2025, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, surrounded by family.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 5, at 3:00 PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ray Ammons officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.
Born on November 30, 1942, in Robeson County, Sandra was the daughter of the late Fred Nash and Mildred Elizabeth Cooke Hodge and the widow of the late Ret. Line Sergeant Donald Lynn “Donny” Pridgen. She was a bookkeeper with Taylor & Sanderson and was a member of First Baptist Church. Sandra was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her life revolved around her family. She was a very caring person who took pleasure in helping others. She was kind, generous and never met a stranger. Her children were very blessed to have her as their mother.
Sandra is survived by her son, Don Pridgen of Grimesland, NC; her daughter, Karen Pridgen Faircloth (James) of Clinton; her granddaughter, Kristen Mejia; five great-grandsons: Jeremy Faircloth, Jason Reyes, Benjamin Reyes, Elijah Mejia, and Isaiah Mejia.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ret. Line Sergeant Donald Lynn “Donny” Pridgen.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Sunday, beginning at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Royal-Hall, and other times at her home.
