Rev. Allen Moore, 66 of 1746 Wallace Hwy, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at his home with his loving family by his side.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 13. at 2:00 PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Cannady officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrells Cemetery.
Born in 1955 in Sampson County, Allen was the son of the late William Edward and Mary Blanche Caviness Moore. He was on a tractor at the age of five, helping on the farmland from sun-up, to sunset. He was an Auto Mechanic for forty-four years. His hobbies were trapping, hunting and fishing. Most of all the loved his family and loved the Lord. He was the Pastor of The Cross Church in Harrells, NC and wanted everyone to know the Lord as their personal Savior.
Allen is survived by his wife, Dorris M. Moore of the home; two daughters: Mellissa Moore of Florida, and Margaret Moore Hollinger and husband, Mike of Surf City; granddaughter, Michaela; sister, Martha Dudley and husband, Leslie of Clinton; brother, Cecil Moore and wife, Effie of Climax.
In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Daniel.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral on Sunday at the funeral home, beginning at 1:00 pm, and other times at his home.
