Patricia "Patsy" Waters Obituary
Mrs. Patricia “Patsy” Martin Waters, 76, of Greenwood Drive, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, September 6, 2022, with her devoted family by her side.
Born on June 21, 1946 in Robeson County, Patsy was the daughter of the late Larry and Ruby Brakefield Martin.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Waters; her daughter, Nicole Smithwick and husband, David of Chapel Hill; son, Ryan Waters and wife, Kathryn of Clayton; brother, Lester Martin of Charlotte; and four grandchildren: Jackson and Madison Smithwick and Nathaniel and Reya Waters.
Patsy was a loving Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Friend. She was also an accomplished musician, teacher, and businesswoman. But, of all her many interests and accomplishments, the most important thing in her life was her family. She had a life that ended too soon, but a life well lived.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
