Pamela Rebecca Hester Strickland, 65, of 147 Martha Lane, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Azalea Health & Rehab Center of Wilmington.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 16, at 3:00 PM at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Hall & Rev. Chris Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Born in 1959 in New Hanover County, Pam was the daughter of Catherine Rebecca Thompson Hester and the late Charles Armel Hester. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Wilmington and attended as her heath permitted. She spent many years in Trucking where she later retired with PTL Trucking Company.

Pam is survived by her husband, Jerry Strickland of the home; mother, Catherine Rebecca Hester of Clinton; daughter, Christy Lea Wood of Wilmington; step-daughter, Candy Strickland of Georgia; step-son, Jason Woodrow Strickland of Minnesota; brother, Charles Armel Hester, Jr of Lillington; and one grandson, Anthony Wood.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Sunday beginning at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary and other times at her home.
