Mrs. Plassie Mae Hall Swinson, 84, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at Mary-Gran Nursing Center.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday morning, May 5, 2021 at 11:00 am at Plain View Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Chubby Reiber officiating. 

Born on May 1, 1937 in Harnett County, Plassie was the daughter of the late Dave Allen and Rosa Mae Bass Hall. She was a homemaker all her life and loved her family more than anything, especially her grandchildren and her loyal, furry friend “Trixie”, who she adored.   

Plassie is survived by her daughter, Linda Hall Weeks and husband, Wayne of Clinton; two sons: Ricky Alan Swinson and wife, Kathy of Dudley and Jeffrey Alan Swinson of Kinston; brother, David Lester Hall of Clinton; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Deloris N. Robleo; sisters: Donnie Blackburn and Lonnie Pearl Hemmis and one brother, Daniel James Hall.

Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery, and other times at the home of her daughter, Linda Weeks, at 605 Fairfax St, Clinton.
