Mr. Leroy Delphuis House, 77, of Boykin Bridge Rd, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 2 pm at Mintz Baptist Church with Dr. John McBride and Dr. Robert Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born on March 15, 1943 in Sampson County, Leroy was the son of the late Felton and Essie Autry House and widower to Jean Gray House. He was a member of Mintz Baptist Church and a retired Sewing Machine Mechanic. He enjoyed shooting guns with his grandchildren while he was able, and he loved playing with his great-granddaughters. They were his world. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather and brother, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Leroy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his three daughters: Anita Hinnant and husband, Tony of Clayton, Lynn Sessoms and husband, Monte of Salemburg, Tiffany Davis and husband, Chris of Roseboro; seven grandchildren: Marcus Page (Erica), Jessica Hamm (Spencer), Hannah Holden (Stephen), Erynn Bryant (Cameron), Joshua Davis, Matthew Davis and Hailey Davis; three great-granddaughters: Abigail Jean Hamm, Mackenzie Holden and Ryleigh Page; one sister: Edna Smith and husband, Clemmon of Garland; two brothers: Leonard House and wife, Mary of Clinton and Walter House and wife, Lee of Hope Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews.
