Mr. Hill was a native of Kinston, NC, and was the son of Clayton Vernon Hill and Betty Hill White. He was a member of Clinton Community Church where he formerly served as a Deacon and as his favorite role, “Greeter!”. He enjoyed sharing his faith in Jesus with friends and total strangers. An avid reader of the Bible, he did his best to live his life as modeled by his Savior. For more than thirty years, he was employed at Quinn Wholesale of Warsaw and finished out his retirement by working in the grocery store business which is where he started as a teenager. Mr. Hill had the gift of hospitality and always enjoyed feeding people and talking to them as long as they would listen!

Jonathan Heath Hill and wife, Sara Blackmon Hill, of McLeansville; grandchildren: Dana Williams and husband, Cecil, of Deep Run, Makenna and Miranda Hill of McLeansville; great-grandchildren, Destinee and D.J.; brother Kenneth Hill and wife Nell, of Kinston, sister Addie Marie Boyette, of Kinston.
