Marjorie Ann Trott Woodall, age 86, formerly of Clinton, NC passed away in Tucson, AZ surrounded by her loving family.

Marjorie was born on November 7, 1935 in Kinston, NC to Alvin Hugh and Etta Mae Taylor Trott and raised in Richlands, NC. A 1958 graduate of Atlantic Christian College, she was an active member of her sorority Phi Sigma Tau. She taught business education at high schools in Selma, NC, William Campbell HS in Naruna, VA, Dunn, NC, Roseboro, NC and for 15 years in Clinton, NC. She was a long time sponsor of The Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and always had entertaining stories to tell after returning from the FBLA state conventions. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clinton, NC and was active in her bridge club for numerous years, the Clinton Gardening Club, and the Six Pack, a group of retired teachers who gathered regularly. She was an avid oil painter and enjoyed her oil art classes at Sampson Community College. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband in their motor home, visiting her children and grandchildren as they moved around the country.

Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Pamela Bass (Bill) of Tucson, AZ and Allyson Lauder (George) of Rising Sun, MD; grandchildren, Julie Bass (Ryan Hammon), Stewart Bass, and Brandy Lauder, sisters-in-law, Judy Trott of Goldsboro, NC and Shelia Trott of Swansboro, NC, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Harold Woodall, parents, Alvin Hugh and Etta Mae Taylor Trott, and brothers, Jerry Taylor Trott and Donald Hugh Trott.
