Mrs. Margaret Diane Richardson Mease, a beloved wife, mother, grandmommy, sister, and friend of 403 Sunset Ave., passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 3, 2023, at the age of 74 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1610 Boykin Bridge Rd., with President Jeffrey Quick Presiding. Burial will follow at Clinton Cemetery.

Born in 1949 in Rocky Mount, NC, Diane was the daughter of the late Richard John and  Elsie Rae Coltrain Richardson. She enjoyed many years serving as an office administrator for a Law firm and then later life led her to become a full-time homemaker, which she loved. Diane was full of love and compassion for her fellow man and served others before herself. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in several capacities within the church. To know Diane was to love her and she will greatly be missed.

Diane is survived by her loving husband, Russell Scott Mease of the home, three daughters: Autumn Martin and husband, Nicholas of PA., Hannah Mease of Wilmington, and McKenzie Mease of Clinton; five grandchildren whom she adored: Jackson, Maggie, Russell, Samuel, and Evelyn; two sisters: Shirley Szczypta, and Judy Mainhart; and brother, Rick Richardson. Diane also is survived by many Nieces, Nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Tuesday at the Church beginning at 10:00 AM, and other times at the home.
