Mrs. Louise Vann Warren, 93, of 120 Southwood Dr., passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare of Wilmington.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 1, at 11:00 AM in the Sanctuary of First Baptist Church, 408 College St., with Dr. Ray Ammons officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.
Born on April 23, 1931, in Cumberland County, Louise was the daughter of the late Charlie Henry Vann and Pauline Butler Vann, and was the widow of Lundie Lewis Warren. Louise was a member of First Baptist Church and attended while her health permitted. She graduated from Herring High School and continued her education at East Carolina College. She received a BS Degree in Primary Education in 1953. Louise moved to Fayetteville in 1953 where she taught in the Cumberland County School System for 34 years until her retirement in 1996. After her retirement, Louise and Lewis reloacted to Clinton and lived in Fox Lake for several years, where she enjoyed gardening, and working in her yard.
Louise is survived by her son, Lundie Lewis Warren, Jr, and wife, Gail, of Wilmington; two granddaughters: Lindsay Warren Campbell (Brett) of Cary, and Lesley Warren Jernigan (Brad) of Wilmington; seven great-grandchildren: Blair, Brody, Barrett, and Beau Campbell, and Butler, Taylor and Sutton Jernigan. She is also survived by a sister, Faye Vann Buffaloe of Raleigh, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by her two brothers: Charlie Dennis Vann, and William Floyd Vann; and sister, Irene Vann Tyndall.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Tuesday, October 1 in the Family Ministry Center of First Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank the staff of Mary-Gran Nursing Center, Sampson Regional Medical Center, and Lower Cape Fear LifeCare of Wilmington for their excellent care that they have provided for Mrs. Warren.
