Ms. Louise Faulkner Allen, 70, of Raleigh (formerly of Clinton) passed away on September 13, 2018 at Transitions Hospice Care in Raleigh.

Born on October 16, 1947, Louise was the daughter of the late Henry Clarence and Gladys Marie Willetts Faulkner. She was a retired Respiratory Therapist at Sampson Regional Medical Center and attended Colonial Baptist Church in Cary.  Louise loved to ride horses and took pride in driving her corvette.  Her hobbies included crochet, macramé and dancing, which she was very good at. She collected four leaf clovers, having a very large collection of clovers she has found over the years.  She was a very compassionate person, taking in stray animals and helping anyone in need.  She loved life, her family and friends and will be greatly missed. 

She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Gail Pope and husband, David of Roseboro; four sisters: Ida Cowan and husband, Tony of Raleigh, Joyce Daughtry of Clinton, Margaret Renard and husband, Serge of Atlanta, Ga and Faye Warren and husband, Charlie of Newton Grove; two brothers: Richard Faulkner and wife, Wanda of Chapel Hill and William Faulkner and wife, Belinda of Dunn; she was also blessed with five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Louise’s life will be held Saturday, September 29th at 2:30 pm at Colonia Baptist Church, 6051 Tryon Road, Cary. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 1:30 pm.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the entire staff at Transitions Hospice Care for their excellent care of Louise during her illness.
