A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday morning, September 4th at 11:00 am at Clinton Cemetery with Rev. Charles Ray Jernigan officiating.

Born on March 5, 1967, Lisa was the daughter of Glenwood Earl “Bud” King and Lois Ann Westbrook King.  She worked with the Sampson County School system, driving a bus for Hobbton Middle School and worked at the Hobbton High School cafeteria. She loved her coworkers and the students, always trying to brighten their day. Lisa had a loving, caring heart and always willing to listen to those who needed support, and help anyone in need. She also worked at the deli and bakery at Carlie C’s and have many customers that will definitely miss her being there.  She loved life and and all of her family and friends. She was most proud of being “Nana” to her four grandkids, who were the light of her life. Lisa touched so many lives and will be missed immensely by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Lisa leaves behind to cherish her memory - her parents, Bud and Lois King; her husband, Scottie Cannady; daughter, Carlee Williams and husband, Jeremy of Clinton; son, Sterling Cannady and special friend, Noel of Four Oaks; sister, Shannon Freeman and husband, Tary of Roseboro; four grandchildren: Halee, Journee, Paisleigh and Kylar; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
