Linda (Parsons) Sutton Hyatt

Linda Parsons Sutton Hyatt, 80, lost her courageous battle with lung disease on Saturday, January 21, 2023 surrounded by family at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 25th at 11:00 am at the Royal Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lynn Blackburn officiating. Preceding the funeral, visitation for family and friends will be held at 10:00 am and internment will be immediately following the funeral at the Clinton Cemetery.

A loving mother and devoted grand- and great-grandmother, she is survived by her son, Woody Sutton of Houston, TX; daughter-in-law Lorie Sutton of Autryville, NC; grand- and great-grandchildren Kristin Vasquez, husband Francisco and children Samuel, Zoey, Ava, and Kayla of Clinton, NC; Paige New, finance Zachery White and children Ricky and Gabriel of Clinton, NC; Emily Luna, husband Pedro and children Adrian and Ella of Autryville, NC; and grandson Aaron Sutton of Autryville, NC; sister Barbara Sambroski of Rutherfordton, NC; brother Johnny Parson, wife Kim of Augusta, GA; and many loving nieces.

Born June 27, 1942 in Clinton, NC, Linda was preceded in death by her parents Loftin and Ruth Parsons; brother’s Craig Parsons, Kenneth Parsons and sister Eleanor Parsons; husbands Joe Hyatt and Curtis Sutton, and children Cheryl New; Carol Sutton and Chris Sutton.

The family extends a very special thank you to her granddaughter Paige New for providing loving in-home care these past two years.
