Mrs. Linda Marie Davis Parker, 76 of 4385 Lamb Rd. died at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro Monday, April 10, 2023, with her family by her side.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Old Mill Church of God with Rev. Donnie Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born on March 10, 1947, in Bladen County, Linda was the daughter of the late Magnum Blake and Ida Mae Edge Davis and the widow of Lonnie Hubert Parker. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She loved her cats and playing Bingo and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her greatest love of all was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a loving wife, mother, Grandma, and great-grandma and will be greatly missed.

Linda is survived by her daughter: Barbara P. Maynor of Garland, sons: Billy Joe Parker, and Robert Joe Parker both of Clinton; two sisters: Hazel Bass and Wilma Bass both of Clinton; three brothers:  Jackie Davis of Clinton, Ervin Davis of New Port, NC, and Jerry Davis of Virginia; six grandchildren: Sabrina Carter, Courtney Carter, Emily Mooring Tabatha Brewington, Candice Key, and Shawn Brooks; She was also blessed with eleven great-grandchildren and twenty nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Blake Davis, and a sister, Ruby Davis

The family will receive friends  Friday night from 6 pm until 8 pm at Royal-Hall Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter at 4385 Lamb Rd., Garland, NC 28441.
