Ms. Linda Gail Westbrook Montez, 79, of 3880 Turkey Hwy, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 16 at 12:00 PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lynn Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Newton Grove.

Born on June 19, 1945, in Sampson County, Linda was the daughter of the late Wade Bowden and Eunice Warwick Westbrook. She was a seamstress and member of Clinton Family Worship Center. She loved her dog “Zoey” and was a friend to all.

Linda is survived by her son, Robert Chris Montez, of the Home; sister, Gloria Westbrook Orozco (Daniel) of Clinton; two neices: Sue Royals of Clinton, Sheila Pratt (Bobbie) of Atlantic, NC.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Royals, and brother, Wade Hampton Westbrook.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Wednesday beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home and other times at the home of her sister, Gloria, 3864 Turkey Hwy., Clinton, NC.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to Royal-Hall Funeral Home to assist with the family's funeral expenses.
