Lillian Bledsole House, 91, of 6481 Roe Bud Rd., passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 25th at 2:00 PM at Oak Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church, 5648 Eason Road, Wade, NC with the Rev. Michael Couillard and Rev. William Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery, 5972 Kennell Road, Wade, NC.
Lillian was born on December 18, 1933, in Sampson County to the late Benjamin Franklin and Martha Frances Goodman Bledsole. She was a retired employee with Rankin Brothers Furniture Manufacturing.
Lillian is survived by two sons: Larry Chavis, (Kimberly) of Raleigh, and Jerry Chavis, (Sandra) of the home; brother: Huey Elgin Bledsole of Godwin; 8 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Evander House and five sisters: Retha Ammons, Hazel Ammons, Effie Lou Korery, Janie Tyler, and Etta Bledsole; and 3 brothers: Odell, LD, and James Bledsole.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service beginning at 1:00 at the church.
