Clinton
Mr. Leon “Edmon” Boyette, Jr., 63, of 804 W. Elizabeth St., passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, August 19th at 10:00AM at the Clinton Cemetery with the Reverend Matthew Creech officiating.
Born in 1959 in Sampson County, Edmon was the son of the late Leon Edmon, Sr. and Inez Simmons Boyette. Edmon followed in his parents’ footsteps working at Leon’s Clothiers, their family business. He loved helping others in need and helping them look the part. He graduated from Clinton High School Class of 1977 and later married his sweetheart, Cindy Warren in 1985, and together they raised a beautiful family in Clinton. Edmon was a volunteer firefighter with the City of Clinton, retiring after thirty years of service. Following his father’s death, he took over the family business. He loved his family and spending time with them, especially his grandchildren, as well as his four-legged family. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, because to know Edmon, was to love him.
Edmon is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Warren Boyette; son, Trey Boyette and wife, Kathryn of Fayetteville; daughter, Lauren Boyette of Washington, D.C.; sister, Karen Boyette Creech and husband, Danny, of Clinton; and three grandchildren: William, Hudson, and Charlotte Boyette.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery, and other times at his home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boys & Girls Home of North Carolina, 400 Flemington Drive, Lake Waccamaw, NC 28450.
Royal-Hall is honored to serve the Boyette and Warren families.
