Mrs. Lazetta Reynolds Henderson, 91 of 111 Boykin Dr., passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at her home with her family by her side.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 16, at 2:30 PM at Grove Park Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathon Shattuck and Rev. Michael Shook officiating. Burial will follow at Clinton Cemetery.

Born in 1931, in Sampson County, Lazetta was the daughter of the late Clem and Lora Jackson Reynolds and the widow of her adored husband, Thomas Devon “Buck” Henderson. She had worked with Dr. Bell’s Dentistry as his receptionist until her retirement. Lazetta was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church where she loved her church family and attended while she was able.

Lazetta is survived by her three sons: Thomas Devon Henderson, Jr. and wife Lesia of Salemburg, Melvin Clifford Henderson and wife Robin of Clinton, and Elvin Clement Henderson and wife Renee of Dunn; sister, Georgia Fox of Clinton, seven grandchildren: Jason Henderson and wife Ashley, April Escalera and husband Michael, Ashley Schwed and husband Andre, Collen Henderson, Kailey Anaya and husband Matthew, Madison Marshburn and husband Thad, and Allyson Henderson; Lazetta was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren: Ashton Godwin, Abby Henderson, Logan Henderson, Mia Escalera, Alysa Escalera, Oliver Schwed, Tobin Anaya, Arlo Schwed, and Lynnix Anaya.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary beginning at 1:30 PM., and other times at her home.

In addition to her parents and her husband, “Buck”, Lazetta was preceded in death by her daughter, Belinda Gail Henderson, and two brothers: Lenwood “Shorty” Reynolds and Thomas Reynolds.
