Clinton-Mr. Larry Ray Winders, 75, of 455 Beulah Road, passed away, Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Mary Gran Nursing Center with his family by his side.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 5, at 2:00 PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mark Fields officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.
Born on July 31, 1950, in Sampson County, Larry was the son of Ruby Baker Winders and the late Bennie Ray Winders. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He spent his career as an 18-wheeler driver for Prestage Farms.
In addition to his mother, Ruby, Larry is survived by two daughters, Monica Hope (Rodney) of Clinton and Angie Moore of Garland; sister, Judy Winders of Clinton; four grandchildren: Taylor Hope, Sam Hope, Lane Wells, and Peyton Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Larry was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra Moore Winders, his second wife, Mary Frances Renfrow Winders, and son-in-law, Barry Moore.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home and other times at Monica’s home, 174 Pine Ridge Rd., Clinton, NC 28328.
