Kendell was born on June 20, 1991 to Leon Scott Strickland and Kimberly Britt Lassiter. He graduated from Hobbton High School and had many friends and those who knew him, knew he loved to race cars and work on anything with an engine. He carried on with that passion, working on cars, trucks, and became a self-taught and self-employed mechanic, with his most recent accomplishment being restoring a 379 Peterbuilt. He also installed poultry equipment for G&M Sales in Goldsboro for over five years, and has always been a go-getter and hard worker. He’s never been afraid of work or helping others. He loved his friends, family, fiancee’ and children - and he will be greatly missed.

Olive; Daughter, Raelynn Strickland; two sons: Blayden Strickland and Kayden Strickland; fiancee’, Anna Farrar; brother, Tyler Strickland of Faison; Grandfather, Carl Britt of Faison; Grandmother, Geneva Strickland of Mt.
