Mrs. Kathleen Cashwell Squibb, 72, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Kathleen was a native of Autryville, NC, the daughter of Robert F. Cashwell and Donna N. Cashwell (deceased). She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, James D. Squibb; father, Robert Cashwell and wife, Ruby; Sons: Alec Barrows and wife, Sandra, Dustin Squibb and wife, Lora, and Cody Squibb and wife, Arran; Sisters: Cassandra Tyndall (George), Carolyn Cashwell, Roberta Hairr (Jim), Diana Browning, and Donna Wingerter (Steve); Grandchildren: Aidan Barrows, Ace Matthews, Ryanne Squibb, Zane Squibb, Colton Squibb, Dallas Squibb, and Weston Squibb.

Kathleen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a retired teacher from the Clinton School system. She also served on the Clinton City Schools Board of Education. She loved her TSA students and co-workers. She worked diligently on many projects to improve her hometown.  Most of all, she loved working on antique cars with her Daddy and the fellas.  She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.

The family will receive friends at Royal-Hall Funeral Home on Friday, June 3rd from 6pm – 8 pm.  Funeral Services will be held at Grace United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 4th at 2:00 pm with The Reverends Francis Daniel and Mark Fields officiating. Burial will be in the Autryville Cemetery with a private graveside service for the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kathleen's memory to the Autryville Fire Department, Attention: Pittman Horne, 305 North Hotel Street, Autryville, NC  28318.
