Mrs. Judy Rose Lewis Lockamy, 71 of 312-C Sampson St., passed away October 26th, 2018 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 29th at 2:00PM in the Clinton Cemetery with Rev. Tim Ameen officiating.

Born on May 24th, 1947 in Sampson County, Judy was the daughter of the late James Floyd Sr. and Willie Jane Hall Lewis. Judy was a Sales Clerk where she spent many years with Belk’s Department Store and was also a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Judy was survived by her son, Jay Lockamy of Clinton; her niece, Penny Peacock and husband, Gary of Dunn and great niece Kate Peacock also of Dunn.

In addition to her parents Judy is preceded in death by her brother, James “Jimmy” Floyd Lewis, Jr.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service on Monday.
