Mrs. Judy Barbara Peterson Bloodworth, 77 of 2561 Ezzell Rd. died at her home Sunday, October 16, 2022.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 1:00 pm from Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Lewis officiating. Entombment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park in Wallace.
Born in 1945 in Sampson County, Judy was the daughter of the late Robert Wilbur and Katie Lou Pridgen Peterson graduated from Union High School in 1963. She was a secretary with Danny’s Service Center in Clinton and a member of Harvest Time Worship Center in Garland. She loved to work in her yard and keeping things looking nice. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-seven years, Danny Lee Bloodworth; her sister, Bonnie Lou Peterson King, and husband, Jerry of Lumberton; brother, Robert Wilbur “Bobby” Peterson, Jr. and wife, Elma of Fayetteville; and a sister-in-law, Eunice Peterson of Benson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Gene A. Peterson.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home beginning at 12:00.
