Jewell Pearl Hudson Crumpler, 90, of 76 Ernest Williams Road, passed away Monday, January 6, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 12 at 3:00 PM, at Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. Adam Capps officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Born in 1934 in Sampson County, Mrs. Crumpler was the daughter of the late Gillard and Minnie Lee Hudson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman D. Crumpler. Mrs. Crumpler was a retired floral designer, caterer, and seamstress. She had her own business, “Elegant Decorations” for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra K. Crumpler of Roseboro and extended family; Sherry Wiggins and Sherry’s daughter, Jamie Wiggins and granddaughter Madison Hope Wiggins.
The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Sunday at the Church Fellowship Hall, beginning at 2:00 PM and other times at her home.
