Jerry Lawrence Lee, Sr., 76, of 99 Challenge Club Dr., a proud Vietnam War Veteran, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Wake Medical Center of Raleigh. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 4, at 11:00 AM at Bethany PFWB Church, 1068 Rackley Rd, Clinton, NC with Rev. Charles Ray Jernigan and Rev. Billy Keith officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park with military honors.
Jerry was born on June 11, 1948, in Dunn, NC to the late James Lawrence and Maxine Wood Lee. After serving honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, he decided to return home and dedicate his career in Sales to The Briggs and Stratton Company. He was a member of Bethany PFWB Church.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Tyndall Lee of Clinton; son, Jerry L. Lee, Jr (Carrie) of Dunn; two daughters: Nancy Lee Jackson (Scott) of Dunn and Sherry Blackburn (Frank) of Ingold; son, Timothy Melvin (Daphne) of Clinton; grandchildren: Justin Batts (Tiffany), Corey Batts (Kristina), Caleb Cady (Venus), Collin Cady (Ashlyn), Jackson Lee (Amy), Perry Blackburn (Brooke), Brittany Blackburn, Zack Melvin, and Gabe Melvin; great-grandchildren: Harmony, Laura, Logan, and Alexis Batts, and Delos and Jasper Cady; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Gerry Lee.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 3, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home and other times at his home.
