Janet Knowles Robinson, 90, of 1545 W. Magnolia-Lisbon Rd., Rose Hill, (Delway) died at her home on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, surrounded by her family.
Funeral Services will be held at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, July 27, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Chuck Yancey and Rev. W.O. Reiber officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home and other times at her home. A private burial will be held after the services on Saturday at Red Hill Universalist Church Cemetery.
Janet was born on July 15th, 1934 in Sampson County and was the daughter of the late Juanita Knowles and David B. Matthis. She was predeceased by her husband Jack W. Robinson and her daughter-in-law, Florence T. Robinson.
Janet was a retired food service worker and homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Red Hill Universalist Church and served in various positions at the church during her life.
She is survived by her children Dale Robinson of Delway, Karen R. Hairr, (David) of Salemburg, Jackie R. Carr, (Lynn) of Clinton, and Wayne Robinson, (Mona) of Clinton.
Grandchildren: Andrea H. Hunter, (Kevin), Kevin Hairr, Brett Hairr, (Amy), Joshua Pope, (Fallon), Camryn C. Wilson, (Mason), Michala R. Gay, (Warren), Tristen Robinson, Angie B. Herring, (Derrick), and Steve Bradshaw, (Bridget).
Great-Grandchildren: Jana H. Anders, (Jacob), Kollin Hunter, Ryley Hairr, Kaylie Honeycutt, Dorman Hairr, Dalaney Hairr, Taylor Pope, Sara Kate Pope, Ryan Pope, Meredith Herring, Devin Splawn, Hailey S. Jackson, (A.J.) Quinn Tart, Peyton Bradshaw, and Jonah Bradshaw. Great-Great Grandchildren: Jonah Tart and Ronan Tart.
