Ms. Helen Grace McCullen Weeks, 93, of 301 Graham St., passed away Sunday, March 16, at Kitty Askins of Goldsboro.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 19, at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary of First Baptist Church, 408 College St., with Dr. Ray Ammons officiating. Burial will follow at Clinton Cemetery.

Born in 1931 in Newton Grove, NC, Grace was the daughter of the late John Henry and Clider Katie Thompson McCullen and the widow of the love of her life, William Hubert Weeks. Together Hubert and Grace married and raised three sons: Todd, Cullen, and Keefe who they were most proud of. Grace was a member of First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for over 25 years, and served on several committees. Grace spent 26 years with First Citizens Bank until her retirement, and then later worked with Sampson County Department of Aging for 27 years. To know Grace, was to love her and she will be greatly missed.

Grace is survived by two sons: Henry “Todd” Weeks of Clinton, and William Cullen Weeks of Garner; sister, Fay Day, and husband, Al of Florida; three grandchildren: Maegan Coleen Weeks, Carly Rose Weeks, and Taylor Weeks; two great-grandchildren: Noah and Fallon Weeks; and many special friends and extended family.

In addition to her parents and husband, Hubert, Grace was preceded in death by a son, Keefe Wendell Weeks; three sisters: Hazel Ray, Shirley Wittig, and Elaine Allen; brother, Willard Shelton McCullen; daughter in law, Alicia Weeks.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Wednesday beginning at 1PM in the Sanctuary of First Baptist Church and other times at her home.
