Mr. Harold Venton Strickland, 82 of 91 Avery Lane, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Mary Gran Nursing Center.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 5 at 2:00 PM at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, 1481 Fleet Cooper Rd., Roseboro, NC. with Pastor John Hobbs and Pastor Bryan Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.

Born in 1940 Harold was the son of the late Clayton and Loleta Fann Strickland. He was a retired maintenance employee with Lundy Packing Co. Harold loved his fur baby, Bengal. He was a Loving Father, Husband, and Grandfather.

Harold is survived by his wife, Marie Barefoot Strickland of the home; two daughters: Lisa Ezzell of Salemburg, and Shelia Kay McLamb of Clinton; one granddaughter, Kayla Marie Jordan; five sisters: Ann Tyndall of Clinton, Barbara Butler of Clinton, Brenda Wainright of Clinton, and Carolyn Reynolds of Garner; brother, Glenn Strickland.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by four sisters: Josephine Porter, Gray Pope, Elizabeth Autry, and Margaret Fann; brother, Charles Strickland.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel, and other times at his home.
