Mr. Harold Delaney “Treejack” Frederick, 84, of 881 Beaver Road, died at Bethesda in Eastover on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
Born on August 4, 1939, in Warsaw, Harold was the son of the late Yancey Delaney and Ella Mae Pope Frederick. He was a farmer all his life and enjoyed nothing more than being outdoors. When he wasn’t working, he was in the woods, either in a treestand or behind a deer blind. He was a member of the Sportsman Hunting Club and was very talented and respected amongst his peers. Harold also enjoyed riding his Harley along with his wife, Peggy, and did so until his health would not allow it.
He was blessed with a good life and was a great and supportive husband, father, and friend. He will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Because to know him, was to love him!
Harold leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of almost 65 years, Peggy Butler Frederick; his daughters: Lynn Frederick Butler and husband, Freddie of Clinton and Sandy D. Frederick of Benson; sister-in-law, Barbara Barber of Clinton, two brothers-in-law: Nelson Butler (Janice) and Jerry Butler (Patricia) of Clinton, and several nieces, nephews, special cousins, and friends whom he adored. He also leaves behind his fur babies: Tom Kate and Susie; his grand-dog, Maggie Mae and grand-cat, Stella Grey.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Jeremy Hairr, Rev. Chris Butler and Dr. Ray Ammons officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park. Visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2:00 pm; and other times at his home.
The family would like to thank the staff of Bethesda Healthcare for their love, care, and compassion. We greatly appreciate it and can’t thank you enough.
