Mr. George W. "G.W." Rackley, 92 of 211 Tomahawk Trail, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 28th, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be held Sunday evening, July 1st, 2018 at 6:00PM at the Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Nancy Smith Edwards and Rev. Lee Monde Parker officiating. An Entombment will be held Monday July 2nd at 2:00PM at Clinton Cemetery.

Born in 1925 in Sampson County, “G.W.” was the son of the late Ross and Pearl Brewer Rackley. “G.W.” was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp., a member of Rowan Baptist Church and the Former owner and operator of Central Heating, Inc.

He is survived by his loving wife, Doris “Dee” Crumpler Rackley. Son, Lee Rackley and wife Yvonne of Clinton. Two grandchildren, Colin Lee Rackley and Anna Leigh Rackley. One great grandson, Jaxon Lee Rackley and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kelly Thompson. Four brothers, Gaston, R. J., Tamp and Norwood Rackley.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home on Sunday and other times at his home.
