Frances Hubbard Obituary

Frances Temple Hubbard, 96, of Glenaire Retirement Community, Cary, NC and formerly of Clinton, NC died January 15, 2021.

Mrs. Hubbard, daughter of the late Walter E. Temple, Sr. and Lois McNeill Temple, was born on August 19, 1924 in Sanford, NC. She graduated from Sanford High School, East Carolina University and North Carolina State University. She was employed by North Carolina Cooperative Extension Services and was a Home Economic Agent in Richmond and Sampson Counties. She was predeceased by her husband, James Robinson (Jim) Hubbard of Clinton, NC, her brothers Landis M. Temple and Walter E. Temple, Jr. and her twin sister, Elizabeth T. Hight.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Dorothy Reade Temple of Cary, NC; Nieces, Jane Temple and Lynne Sanders of Raleigh, NC; Nephews John Temple of Wilmington, NC, Steve Temple of Clayton, NC, Richie Temple of Cary, NC and Sterling Hight of Hilton Head, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607; Glenaire Foundation, 4000 Glenaire Circle, Cary, NC 27511 or Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church, 201 Fayetteville St., Clinton, NC 28328.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 4:00 pm at the Clinton City Cemetery with Rev. Steve Wilkins officiating.
