Mrs. Lillian Faye Baker Carr, 83, of 311 Fox Lake Dr., passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Rolling Ridge of Newton Grove.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, June 18 at 10:00 AM at the Clinton Cemetery with Rev. Katie Rives officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
Born in 1940 in Sampson County, Faye was the daughter of the late Lewis Albert and Pennie Best Baker and the widow of her beloved husband, Eugene Bryan Carr. She was a true Southern lady who loved and was loved by many. Faye spent most of her professional career at Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church until her retirement.
Faye is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Faye was preceded in death by her sister, Lela Jean Baker Jackson, and brother, James Lewis Baker Sr.
