Mrs. Evelyn McLamb Smith, 75 of 2080 Harvey Lewis Rd., passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at her home.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 10, at 11:00 AM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel, 301 McKoy St. Clinton NC. with Pastor Lynn Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery on West Side Lane Clinton, NC.

Born on December 8, 1945, in Sampson County, Evelyn was the daughter of the late William Edgar and Cleo West McLamb. Evelyn was a member of Miller’s Chapel PFWB Church and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her special family.

Evelyn is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Charlie Elwood Smith of the home; two sons: William Elwood Smith and wife, Melanie of Apex and David Robert Smith and wife, Michelle of Faison; three grandchildren: Tyler Smith, Travis Smith, and Hannah Smith.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her two sisters: Lou Ellen Barker and Nancy Eldridge.

The family will receive friends one hour before the Service on Friday beginning at 10:00 AM at Royal-Hall Funeral Home.
