Mrs. Eva Aleese Acton Creed, 83, of 477 Red Hill Church Rd., passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Mary Gran Nursing Center.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 29, at 3:00 PM at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria Virginia. The services there will be held by Cunningham Turch Funeral Home & Crematory.
Born in 1941 in Charlottesville, VA, Eva was the daughter of the late Henry Lewis and Kathleen Dowell Acton and the widow of William Henry “Bill” Creed. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Clinton and attended as her health permitted. Eva spent her entire career in banking where she was a branch manager for many years.
Eva is survived by two daughters: Julie Reynolds of Springfield, West Virginia and Callie Robinson of Woodbridge, Virginia; brother, Charles Acton of Alexandria, Virginia; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; many dear friends: Louise King, Pat & Susan Wood, Elsie Taylor, and her church family.
In addition to her parents and husband Bill, Eva was preceded in death by son, Joseph Boland, and brother, Raymond Acton.
