Emily Elizabeth (Raynor) "Lib" Warren

Mrs. Emily Elizabeth Raynor “Lib” Warren, 89, of 496 Hondros Rd., passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Somerset Court of Winston-Salem, NC.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 2, at 1:00 PM at Clinton Cemetery, with Rev. Jonathon Shattuck officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Born on May 5, 1937, in Sampson County, Lib was the daughter of the late Emil James and Marable Estelle Chestnutt Raynor. She was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church and attended as her health permitted. Lib was employed with Hamilton Beach until her retirement.

Lib is survived by her son, William Douglas Warren, Jr. (Jill) of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren: Benjamin Warren (Juliette) and Jacob Warren (Michaela); one great-granddaughter, Emmy Warren; and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents, Lib was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Warren, Sr.; daughter, Judith Ann Warren; sister, Edna Knowles; and four brothers: Richard E. Raynor, James A. Raynor, Bobby C. Raynor, and William R. Raynor.
