Mrs. Emily Preddy Wise, 50 of 3025 Penny Tew Mill Rd., passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at her home.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 12, at 2:00 PM at Hickory Grove Baptist Church, 11341 Hwy 421N Clinton, NC., with Rev. Matthew Creech and Rev. Chris Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mill Church of God Cemetery, 170 Williams Lake Rd., Roseboro, NC.

Born in 1972 in Sampson County, Emily was the daughter of Deby Tew Preddy and the late Henry Graham Preddy, and the wife of Gregory Brian Wise. Emily was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend to many. She was a member of the Herring Fire and Rescue and ladies' auxiliary. Whatever Emily took on she put her heart and soul into it.

Emily is survived by her husband, Greg Wise of the home; two sons: Joshua Wise and Jerrod Wise both of the home; mother, Deby Tew Preddy of Roseboro and many special Nieces and Nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 1:00 PM and other times at her mother’s home, 3071 Penny Tew Mill Rd. Roseboro, NC.
