Elizabeth “Greer” McVicker Moore, 49, of 455 Leighton Hall Rd., passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, with her family by her side.

Greer was born on November 2, 1972 and raised by her parents, Tommy and Dale  McVicker. She married the love of her life, Blake Moore and they raised their four children on their farm in Duplin County. Greer was always involved in every aspect of her family’s lives, whether it be helping her husband in the chicken houses, volunteering at schools while the kids were young, helping with their education, attending all the school events and games, especially the boys’ football and baseball games - as she was always their biggest fan. Greer was such a good person and we will never be able to replace her sweet “light” that she brought to all of our lives.  Everyone who knew her, loved her.

Greer leaves behind to cherish her memory - her husband, Blake Moore, daughters: Sarah Elizabeth Moore, Morgan Grey Moore, sons: James Elam Moore, Eli Newel Moore, all of the home; brother: Scott and wife, Jill McVicker of Sneads Ferry; and her parents, Tommy and Dale McVicker of Saint Pauls.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Siloam Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Register and Rev. Phil Eakins officiating. Burial will follow at Harrells Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the interment at her home.
