Mr. Elijah Johnson-Gonzalez, 25, of 15 Rick Perry Lane, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 7th at 1:00 PM at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, with the Rev. Josh Hughes officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service in the sanctuary and other times at the home.

Born on September 27, 1999, in Las Cruces, NM, Elijah was the son of Eduardo Gonzalez and Natalie Johnson. Elijah was a compassionate and beautiful young man. A man who cared and loved deeply for those around him. It didn’t even matter if he knew you. He would give you the clothes on his back if he thought you needed them. He truly was a selfless man with a heart of gold. He loved the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and making the most of what anyone had to offer. Whether it was playing board games with the family, or just sitting down by a river watching the water pass. He was an amazing Father, Husband, Son, Brother, and best friend to many.

Elijah is survived by his wife, Michaela Mercer Gonzalez; two sons: Kalob Gonzalez and Adam Hazelwood; two daughters: Savannah Lucas and Raylynn Gonzalez; mother, Natalie Johnson, and her husband, Josh Nilson; father, Eduardo Gonzalez; two brothers: Malachi Johnson and Isaiah Johnson; one sister: Irony Johnson; maternal grandfather, Scott Johnson; paternal grandfather, Victor Gonzalez; and many extended family and friends.

Elijah was preceded in death by his maternal Grandmother, Sharon Johnson, and paternal grandmother, Bertha Gonzalez.
