Edith Yvonne Bass Wilson, 68 of 498 Byrd Yancey Bass Rd. passed away at Sampson Regional Medical Center Saturday, October 5, 2024.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery.
Born on May 28, 1956 in Guilford County, Edith was the daughter of Rosa Byrd Bass and the late Carl Duell Bass. She was a retired School Bus Driver with Sampson County Schools and a member of the Beulah Baptist Church. She loved dogs and was an avid yard salesperson.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Gary O'Neil of the home; Two daughters: Wendy Tyndall and Lee Tyndall both of Roseboro; Two sisters: Betty Smith and husband, Charles of Turkey and Syliva Pope and husband, Patrick of Clinton; Two brothers: Larry Bass and wife, Gail of Sanford and Wayne Bass and wife, Catherine of Cinton; Four grandchildren: Mason Tyndall, Madison Tyndall, Jeremiah Thompson, and Riley Thompson; Several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Bryant.
The famly will recieve friends Monday night October 7, 2024, at Royal-Hall Funeral Home from 6 until 8 PM and other times at the home of her mother, Rosa Bass, 1181 Reedsford Rd. Clinton, NC.
